Abel honored for many years of service to the valley

Kevin Abel, CEO of Lake Chelan Community Hospital & Clinics, was honored for his many years of service to the hospital and the valley on March 24 at Sorrento’s at Tsillan Cellars with a farewell reception sponsored by the Lake Chelan Health & Wellness Foundation, Hospital Guilds B, Y and E, LCCHC employees and Lake Chelan Rotary. The groups presented Abel with an Rob Blackaby painting of Lake Chelan. He was also presented with Certificate of Recognition and patch from Chelan Fire & Rescue, an award from Manson Fire #5,  both for his service to the Lake Chelan Valley, and his Lake Chelan Rotary badge was ‘retired’. Abel and his family will be leaving Chelan to move to Whitefish, Montana, where he will become the CEO of the North Valley Hospital - Kalispel Regional Healthcare on April 1.
