Annual Harvest Dinner

CHELAN -  The Lake Chelan United Methodist Church will be serving its Annual Harvest Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 10,  5 - 7 p.m. at the church located on the corner of Johnson and Emerson.  Cost is by donation.  Come one, come all.  Enjoy a delicious feast of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green  beans, salad, rolls, and holiday pies.  It’s an autumn community tradition that has happened for three decades.

Holiday Boutique

CHELAN - The Chelan Senior Center will hold its Holiday Boutique, bake sale and luncheon on Saturday, Nov. 17, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the center, 534 E. Trow Avenue. For vendor table info call 682-2712. Luncheon will be homemade potato and ham chowder or chili, with bread. Cinnamon rolls and coffee will also be available.

Holiday Extravaganza vendor
tables available

MANSON - Holiday Extravaganza sponsored by the Manson Apple Blossom committee has openings for vendors.  The bazaar will be held at the Manson Grange Hall on Nov. 24, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.  Email Linda Blessin at or call her, 687-5008 for vendor table signup. There will be lots of crafts for gifts and home: Jewelry, handmade soaps, card, jams, candles, crochet and sewing items, painting, art work, gift baskets, bake sale and much more. There will also be freshly baked blueberry muffins, pie and coffee.

Story time Chelan / Manson Libraries

CHELAN - Story time is every Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Chelan Public Library located on Emerson Street. Join them for singing, dancing, clapping, music making as well as reading. It’s both fun and educational!
MANSON - Every Wednesday at 11 a.m. the Manson Community Library offers a story time for children ages 2 to 5 and their caregivers.  Join the group for a half hour of stories, rhymes, songs, finger plays and other activities.  For more information call the library at 687-3420.

CHELAN -  The Chelan Senior Center will hold their monthly board meetings on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 1p.m. and  5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Senior Center, located at 534 E. Trow in Chelan.

CHELAN - The North Cascades Sportsman’s Club Board meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. Meetings take place at the Chelan PUD located at 1034 E. Woodin Ave. in Chelan.

CHELAN - Baby rhymin’ time is every Friday at 10 a.m., at the Chelan Pubic Library on Emerson Street, for ages 0-3 years. Join them for singing, dancing, nursery rhymes, musical instruments, and story telling for babies, waddlers and toddlers.

CHELAN - The Lake Chelan United Methodist Church Community ‘Soup’ Kitchen is open every Friday, noon to 1:30 p.m. The church is located at the corner of Johnson and Emerson.

Lake Chelan Community Choir Christmas Cantata rehearsal

MANSON - The Lake Chelan Community Choir will be rehearsing at North Shore Bible Church, in Manson on Sunday, Nov. 11, 1-3 p.m. for the Christmas Cantata: “One of Us”.  This is the fourth of seven rehearsals. Music and rehearsal CD’s are provided.  If you’ve not sung with the community choir before, but have been “thinking about it, consider yourself invited to come and sing. Cancer Support Group, yoga class

CHELAN - The Women’s Wellness Group, cancer support group, meets the second Tuesday of each month with lunch provided by the Wenatchee Wellness Place, at the Lake Chelan Community Hospital Board Room at 11:45 a.m.  For more information, contact Anne at 682-8718.
Wellness/Restorative yoga, a guided practice of gentle yoga postures and movement designed for cancer survivors, individuals living with acute or chronic illnesses, and caregivers is available at no charge. This class is held each Wednesday at 3:45 p.m. at Yogachelan.  Contact Yogachelan for more information.

MANSON - The Manson Chamber of Commerce November Manson Mingle will be held on Nov. 14, 6-8 p.m. at Mountain View Lodge in Manson. Lilac Services for the Blind meetings

WENATCHEE - The Wenatchee Valley Chapter of the Lilac Services For the Blind meets every second Wednesday of the month at 4 Kittitas St. across the street from the bus station in Wenatchee, second floor, at noon. CHELAN - Berean Baptist Church has a potluck dinner after the morning service on the last Sunday of every month. The church is located at 515.  E. Woodin Ave. There will be no evening service on that Sunday.
