Interact Club raising funds for well in Ethiopia May 19

CHELAN - Lake Chelan High School Interact Club is hosting a fundraiser to provide a well to a village in Ethiopia.  Clean water is something that we have and enjoy in Lake Chelan, so Chelan High School students want to provide that same basic right to those who currently struggle with water shortages, insecurity, long walks, and pollution.

They are raising awareness by walking around Riverwalk park on Sunday, May 19, noon to 2 p.m. There is no cost to join us on a walk around the loop.

They will be accepting (and very appreciative) of donations to help them reach their goal of $1,000.  Invite your family, friends, and co-workers to walk around Riverwalk Park on and join the Lake Chelan High School Interact Club in their campaign to improve lives.
