The Cellist

Chelan's newest public art is brought to you by the Lake Chelan Arts Council and the city of Chelan. The wonderful sculpture, The Cellist, can be found on the corner of Emerson and Woodin in downtown Chelan. The Cellist was sculpted in bronze by John Richen.  He attended Oregon State University and had a gallery/studio in Shoreline, for seven years, but now lives in California. The Lake Chelan Arts Council will hold their spring membership meeting and social on June 4, 6 p.m. at The Vogue in downtown Chelan. There will be appetizers, desserts and a no host bar. Anyone interested in becoming a member is welcome to attend.
