Brunch Box celebrates grand opening with ribbon cutting ceremony

Posted

CHELAN - Located on the corner of Woodin and Robinson Ave., the newest business in town celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on a windy Saturday morning, April 27.

The Brunch Box at Deep Water Inn is a family run business that carries breakfast sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, waffles, burritos and lunch items. “The different lunch sandwiches are served with packets of mayonnaise and mustard on the side and with some lettuce so you can take it and go on with your day,” said owner Minda Gogal. Chips and a pickle complete the lunch order, served in a box. A variety of desserts are also available on the menu. Customers can also ask for gluten free bread.

Minda explained that the idea behind having the food items packed in a box comes from people adventuring around town. “They need to-go lunches and we want to be fast and convenient,” said Minda.

Working with Minda is her husband Gary, her in-laws and her mom. “We are working together to make it flow, everything is going good so far. We are really excited to be part of the community,” said Minda.

Minda mentioned that a vegan option is in the works in order to accommodate all. The Brunch Box is open Wednesday thru Sunday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Anyone can reach the Brunch Box at (509) 888-5461 to place a pick-up order.
