LINK Plus application and processing at Heritage Heights very successful

CHELAN - Link Plus representatives, Maggie and Adina, worked with 11 Chelan and Manson residents and their family/caregivers Friday, July 27 at Heritage Heights. They reviewed their applications, did the “transit walk” activity and talked with them about issues that prevent them from using the regular Link Bus. The applicants will be notified by mail of the outcome of their application.

Heritage Heights staff and  TLC for Seniors provided administrative support for Link staff and applicants. Ken Young provided courtesy rides for two applicants. The event was very successful and a wait list has been started for the next Chelan/Manson LINK Plus event.

The major benefit of qualifying for LINK Plus is that you can call LINK Guest Services (509)662-1155, 24 hours in advance of a doctor appointment or other Chelan/Manson trip. The cost is only $1.50 one-way, $3.00 round trip, a huge bargain. Also make connections with LINK Plus for appointments in Wenatchee.
