Goats host Omak Pioneers and take a loss

CHELAN – The Goats hosted the Omak Pioneers Friday, Oct. 13 for trying game resulting in a loss for the Goats. The Pioneers brought a tough offense and defense, but Chelan was relentless in their efforts to catch up. Omak attempted and recovered several onside kicks and managed to barrel through the tough Goat defense. The game ended with a final score of Goats 22 to Omak’s 55 points. “I am proud of our no quit attitude,” said Goats Coach Travis Domser, “We need to find ways to be more physical on both sides of the ball.  Defensively we have to find ways to stop the run and get off the field on 3rd and long and on 4th down.” The Goats will be preparing for the Battle of the Shoe Friday, Oct. 20 at Cashmere, “nothing can turn a season around like playing cashmere tough and getting the shoe back,” concluded Domser.
