Chelan girls fall to Okanogan at districts

The Chelan girls ended their season with a 47-39 loss to Okanogan in the District 6 tournament.

The Lady Goats struggled to get their offense going in the first quarter as the Lady Bulldogs’ defense kept them to six points.

Okanogan continued to hinder Chelan’s scoring efforts in the second quarter, keeping the Lady Goats scoreless in the first half of the frame. Chelan gained some momentum late in the frame with seven points.

The Lady Goats came out with some fire in the third quarter, scoring 16 points to bring the scoring gap to 30-29.

Katie Rainville’s two-pointer gave Chelan the lead for the first time all game. Okanogan managed to take back the lead later in the frame and never looked back.
