CHELAN - The Omak Pioneers defeat the Chelan Mountain Goats 72-66 in 2OT at Chelan High School on Tuesday night (Dec 18).  The Goats were able to overcome a double digit deficit in the last 4 minutes of regulation, to send the game into overtime and eventually double overtime.

The Goats were led by Quinn Stamps who poured in 21 points and was a monster on the boards.  Connor Wilson chipped in 17 and Cade Christopherson added 10.

Coach Pearl stated, "I'm proud of how our guys battled back in the 4th and really did it by getting big stops.  Unfortunately we didn't make enough plays down the stretch to come away with the win.  We had our opportunities and just weren't able to convert.  In the last few minutes of the game, it's crucial to make FT's, block out and take good shots....we just failed to do that tonight."

Chelan will travel to Warden on Thursday to play the Cougars at Warden High School.
