CHELAN - The Chelan Goats lost their road opener to the Cashmere Bulldogs 95-70 on Tuesday night (Dec. 4).
The Goats got into an up and down track meet with the Bulldogs in the first half and went into halftime sown 18 pts. They battled back in the second half but ultimately could not overcome their double digit deficit.
“We weren’t as dialed in defensively as I think we could’ve been. We got ourselves into a hole in that 2nd quarter that ended up being too much for us to overcome. It’s hard when you have a kid who was feeling it, like Mason was tonight. Just no answer for that," said Coach Pearl.
The Goats were led by Connor Wilson’s 27 points and Quinn Stamps 17.
Chelan will host the Okanogan Bulldogs this Friday, Dec. 7, at CHS.
