The Lady Trojans traveled to Lake Roosevelt on Tuesday night and fell to the Raiders 51-33.  The Raiders pressured the Trojans all night.  Manson was led by Clausen with 16 and Mendoza with 10 points and 10 rebounds.  Coach Sivertson said “We started sluggish and never recovered. Our effort and energy picked up as the game went on but it was not enough to get back into the game.  The Trojans travel to Cascade for a non-league game on Thursday.
BOYS
Manson stormed back from double digit deficit but fell short on a long 3 pointer 51-54.  I was proud of our grit, but first quarter turnovers and 3rd quarter poor defensive execution did us in. Avery Thompson led the charge with 23 points.

Chelan 37     Cle Elum 41
The Lady Goats travelled to Cle Elum Tuesday night for a non-league tilt vs. the SCAC Playoff favorite Warriors.  Cle Elum's match up zone gave the Goats fits in the first half as the Goats went in at halftime down 10.  After some adjustments, the Lady Goats exploded out of the locker room with an 18-8 3rd quarter run to tie the game.  Freshman Xitlali Cruz and Junior Lexie Gleasman combined with Freshman Forward Katie Rainville to carry the Goats into the 4th quarter where the lead changed hands 5 times.  Cle Elum hit a deep 3 and 2 free throws to seal the victory for the home team.
"Defensively, we got after it with more energy in the 2nd half.  The challenge now is to put two halves together.  Offensively, we were much more aggressive getting to the basket, as evidenced by getting to the line 18 times .  Katie Rainville had a nice night on the boards and was spectacular on defense." said Chelan Head Coach Steve Nygreen.
