Chelan Volleyball takes 2nd place in 9/29 tournament

Chelan traveled to Spokane to participate in the Linda Sheridan Classic Volleyball tournament.  We were one of 64 teams from all classifications B-4A. The Lady Goats battled all day and ended up taking 2nd place. Chelan beat Kamiakin (3A)25-12, 25-15, Mt Spokane JV (3A)25-10, 25-10, and Oakesdale (1B) 25-18, 25-13 in pool play to move on to the platinum bracket with the top 16 teams.  We then faced Mountain View (3A)26-24, 25-18, Chiawana (4A)26-28, 25-18, 15-13 and Kings 25-22, 21-25, 15-5(1A and returning state champions) to make it to the finals against Tahoma (4A)12-25, 12-25.  I am proud of how the girls battled and played great volleyball all day.  We had our backs against the wall at times and the girls were able to stick together, persevere and they came out victorious with some great wins.
