Lady Goats lose to Kodiaks, beat Bulldogs

CHELAN – The Lady Goats traveled to Leavenworth to take on Cascade for the District Championship match. Although losing in four, Head Coach Jenifer Rainville said, “I am proud of how we were able to take a set.  It has been quite a few years since Chelan has been able to take a set from Cascade.”

Immediately following the loss to Cascades, the Lady Goats took on Cashmere to secure seeding in Saturday’s crossover matches. Chelan took the win, and secured the number 2 spot in 4 sets. “My girls were exhausted but were able to dig down and find the energy. We will host Newport High School on Saturday (Nov. 4) at 5 p.m.  The winner will go to state.”
