Manson wins last home game against Oroville

MANSON - Manson hosted Oroville for Senior Night on Monday, April 29.  Manson fell behind early and trailed Oroville 4-1 at the half.  The lone first half goal for Manson was scored by senior Gustavo Villasenor. 

 Manson fought back in the second half with 3 goals from Brian Barragan and a goal from Yzaak Lopez.  At the end of regulation the score was tied 5-5.  In the second overtime Esteban Escoto scored with only 15 seconds remaining and Manson won 6-5.  Manson has a very good chance to make the post season but won’t know it’s fate until games were played on Tuesday night. 

It has been a successful season for first year coach Junior Valdovinos and for our three seniors Marco Sanchez, Oliver Ellingson, and Gustavo Villasenor.
