Near dozen Mountain Goats make CTL tennis All-League teams

CHELAN – As the Chelan High School varsity boys’ and girls’ tennis teams headed for state championship competition in Yakima May 25-27, they included in their numbers, 11 players voted to this season’s Caribou Trail League All-League tennis teams.
Senior Micah Larsen made the CTL First Team in boys’ singles. Senior teammate Alex Gavin was an Honorable Mention.
Sophomore Emma McLaren was another First Team pick in girls’ singles.
The girls doubles teams of junior Sierra Rothlisberger/senior Madeline Peebles, and freshmen Elle Rothlisberger/Bella Gatzemeier swept First Team honors. Junior Abby Martin and senior Sydney Hawkins got Second Team nods.
In boys’ doubles, junior Wyatt Habich and senior Tobin Wier were Honorable Mentions.
