MANSON - The Trojans hosted Lake Roosevelt Thursday night for a home league match and fell to the tough Raiders in three sets.
Set scores were 13-25, 16-25 and 20-25.
Leading the Trojans at the service line were Kassie Macias with 10/10 and
Celina Mendoza had 8/8 with 3 aces.
Briseyda Landa and Alyssa La Mar each served 6/7.
Kendall Petre had a great night at the net racking up the only Trojan blocks with 3 and adding in 4 kills.
Celina Mendoza also had 4 kills.
Playing Libero for the Trojans was Briseyda Landa who led the team in digs with 7 and also led the team in serve receive.
Megan Clausen also added a great Serve Receive game for the Trojans.
Trojan setter, Devyn Smith put up 16 assists on the night.
On the JV side- the Raiders walked away with the win in all three sets.
Scores were: 23-25, 21-25 and 10-25.
Teresa Venegas served 9/9 with 4 aces and Maya Hannah added 5/5 with 1 ace.
Alexis Stotko and Marylein Bernardo each had 2 kills for the night.
Brenda Alonso led the team in digs with 3 while Lexi Stotko and Teresa
Venegas led the way in serve receive.
The Trojans are heading into a busy week next week with three matches on the
schedule and are working to add more marks in the win column.
They will travel to Tonasket on Tuesday, host Brewster on Thursday and will
hit the road on Saturday to Soap Lake. All games have a JV start time of 5 p.m. with JV to follow, usually around 6:30 p.m.
