LINK Plus application and processing at Chelan Valley Hope was very successful

CHELAN - Link Plus representatives, Maggie and Adina, worked with nine Chelan and Manson residents and their family/caregivers Thursday, May 17 at Chelan Valley Hope. They reviewed their applications, did the “transit walk” activity and talked with them about issues that prevent them from using the regular Link Bus. The applicants will be notified by mail of the outcome of their application.
Tender Loving Care for Seniors staff and volunteers provided administrative support for Link staff and refreshments for the applicants. Ken Young provided courtesy rides for five applicants and TLC staff assisted another. The event was very successful and a wait list has been started for the next Chelan/Manson LINK Plus event. The major benefit of qualifying for LINK Plus is that you can call LINK Guest Services (509)662-3569, 24 hours in advance of a doctor appointment or other Chelan/Manson trip. The cost is only $1.50 one-way, $3.00 round trip, a huge bargain. Also make connections with LINK Plus for appointments in Wenatchee.
