Manson falls to
The Manson Trojan baseball team wrapped up its season last week with three games.
Last Tuesday, April 29, the Trojans traveled to Bridgeport to take on the Mustangs, with Bridgeport earning a 15-5 win.
Manson's Bo Charlton and Chayse Brooks were on the mound for the Trojans.
At the plate, the Trojans took had a good day at the plate. Manson's Charlton and Jared LaMar had two hits each while teammates Mikey Pittman, Michael Sanchez, Luis Perez and Zach Serafini each had a hit.
"The Trojans played well defensively and several players made outstanding plays," Manson Coach William Thompson said. "Mike Sanchez had a sensational double play at third base and Jared LaMar had an outstanding catch in the outfield."
Manson hosted Pateros last Friday, May 2, in a double header to wrap up the season for the Trojans. Pateros won both games, the first 17-1, and the second was called due to darkness in the fourth inning, with Pateros holding a large lead when the game was called.
Manson finished the season with 2-16 record overall. The lone wins for Manson were against Oroville, the first occurring Saturday, April 12 at home, 11-9. Manson won 10-2 on Thursday, April 26.
