Chelan's Lady Goats volleyball is gearing up for the fall season.
Last year, Chelan's girls took dominated the Caribou Trail League and took the district title. It wasn't until the final round of the state tournament in Yakima that the team saw trouble, losing in a close match against King's and taking second in the 1A tournament. Downward dog and warrior pose got a shot of youthful energy this past Wednesday at YogaChelan's final yoga class for kids this summer in Centennial Park. Teacher Dan White schooled brothers Dillon McCardle, 7, and Austin, 5, on yogic breathing and a series of yoga positions, plus some good old fun and tumbling. Cascadia Conservation District, the City of Entiat, and the Entiat Watershed Planning Unit invite locals to participate in a coordinated effort to clean-up public access points.
