Beeping noise reported, bomb squad called

CHELAN - At approximately 11 a.m. this morning, March 13, there was a report of a beeping sound from the garbage can outside of the Chelan Post Office.  According to the Chelan County Sheriff office, the bomb squad from Yakima has been called in.  ETA is a couple of hours.

Johnson Avenue is now closed from Sanders to Columbia. Portions of Emerson Street around the Post Office are also closed.
