Car submerges near Rocky Point in Chelan

CHELAN - Chelan Fire and Rescue responded to a vehicle in the lake on July 5, at 433 SR 150 (near Rocky Point) with Chelan County Sheriff Officers and Lake Chelan EMS. The vehicle was completely submerged and the three occupants were able to self-extricate without injuries, but were still evaluated by EMS. Marine 71 was on the lake conducting training maneuvers and was able to respond to the incident with two rescue swimmers within 7 minutes 33 seconds.
