ENTIAT – Thursday, March 8 marked the last day of office for Mayor Keith Vradenburg, as he stepped down from his mayoral position and handed the gavel to Councilman John Alt, who will serve as Mayor Pro-tem.
Vradenburg made the decision to step down from office after over 10 years of service to the City of Entiat due to health reasons, said City Code Enforcer Jim Brooks. Community Development Director RJ Lott presented a plaque to Vradenburg for his dedication and service to the city for over a decade.
Alt will continue to perform the Mayoral duties through the end of Vradenburg’s remaining term, which creates an open seat on council. If you are interested in filling the void councilmember role, contact the City of Entiat at 509-784-1500 or stop by at 14070 Kinzel St., Entiat.
