Lake Chelan Golf Club, Ladies Division donate $250 to food bank

CHELAN - The Ladies Division of the Lake Chelan Golf Club presented the Lake Chelan Food Bank with a check for $250.  This money represents a sort of “swear jar” type of system.  Instead of swearing, the women deposit money into a jar after play for each dreaded three putt. This adds up over the season. This year the club agreed to donate the fund to the Lake Chelan Food Bank.
The club president for 2019, Carol Ferguson, presented the check for $250 to the president of the Lake Chelan Food Bank board, Jim Batdorf on Monday, Oct. 15.
