CHELAN - Chelan Basin Conservancy announced the winners of their Stehekin vacation package on July 24.
Leianne Trefry of Wenatchee won the Stehekin vacation package which includes two nights at North Cascades Lodge, transportation on the Lady Express, and two $100 meal vouchers at Courtney’s ranch up the Stehekin Valley and the North Cascades Café at the landing.

Karen Kelly of Ardenvoir won a $50 gift card at Bear Foods in Chelan. Joanne Faught of Manson won a $75 gift card at Bear’s. Jan Ellis of Purtteman Gulch near Chelan won a box of organic peaches from Brownfield orchards.

Chelan Basin Conservancy members and friends sold 1,436 raffle tickets at the Manson Farmers Market, the Chelan Evening Farmers Market, Pybus Market in Wenatchee and the Leavenworth Farmers Market, with some sales made several days at a sidewalk table in downtown Chelan. The raffle and the Conservancy received welcomed public support.

Funds raised will be used to support CBC which will continue efforts to protect Lake Chelan and public access to it.

Trefry smiled from ear to ear as she received the travel vouchers from CBC raffle coordinators Robyn Casal and Tammy Lee Hauge. “I just feel blessed that I can spend this prize in nature,” she exclaimed. “I’ve never been to Stehekin—and it’s been on my bucket list for years.”
 Congratulations, Leianne Trefry.
