Manson man arrested for Hit and Run Resulting in Death

MANSON - Sheriff Brian Burnett reports on June 17, 2018 at approximately 0249 hours an injured male subject was reported laying in the roadway in the 500 block of Manson Blvd. Aid crews arrived and it was determined the male was deceased at approximately 0300 hours.

Deputies who arrived on scene located vehicle debris on the roadway in the vicinity and it appeared the male had been struck by a vehicle.  There were no witness to the collision and the vehicle was no longer on scene.

Sheriff Brian Burnett reports during the afternoon of June 17, 2018, Chelan County Sheriff’s Office investigators were able to locate the vehicle and driver from the fatal collision in Manson.

Detectives interviewed the driver, a 21-year-old Manson man. He was later booked into CCRJC for Hit and Run Resulting in Death.  Although an arrest has been made, detectives are still investigating this incident.
