Pickup loses control due to slick roadways

ORONDO - Three occupants of a pickup were injured when their vehicle lost control on slick roadways on U.S.97 in Orondo 2 miles south of the Beebe Bridge on Friday, Feb. 8. Firefighters arrived to find a heavy damaged pickup in the middle of the roadway. It appeared that it lost control, left the roadway striking the ditch and returning to the roadway.
Two patients were treated at the scene and one was transported to Lake Chelan Community Hospital. Twelve firefighters and EMTs responded from Orondo Fire, Chelan Fire Rescue and Lake Chelan Community Hospital EMS.
