Press Release Charles Sablan

The City of Chelan staff and elected officials were greatly saddened by the news of the death of Charles Sablan in an early morning traffic accident yesterday.  Charles was the Parks and Recreation Director for the City for 8 years before leaving in 2015.  He was responsible for many great park projects that benefitted both residents and the visitors who enjoy the Lake Chelan area.  These projects stand as testimony to Charles’ passion for the benefits of parks and recreation activities and facilities.

Our heart-felt sympathies go out to his wife, Cheryl and two daughters, Emily and Taylor.  We hope that they will know that they are in our thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow.
