Spooky events coming to Chelan, Manson

Trick or Treat in Historic Downtown Chelan Oct. 31, 5-7 p.m.
CHELAN - HDCA will be hosting a safe and spooky trick or treating this Halloween. Downtown will be filled with ghostly melodies that will lead everyone to the Campbell’s Haunted House. Don’t forget to grab hot chocolate at Chelan Fire Station before the costume competition at 6:15 p.m. at the Woodin/Emerson intersection.

Thriller 2018 Oct. 31, 6 p.m.
CHELAN - Gather up and enjoy the moves from Chelan and Manson locals, as they perform Michael Jackson’s Thriller! Zombies will dancing at the intersection Woodin/Emerson in Downtown Chelan on Halloween night starting at 6 p.m.

Trunk ‘N’ Treat Oct. 31, 5 p.m. at North Shore Bible Church parking lot
MANSON - On Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 5 p.m., the little trick or treaters can make their way down to the North Shore Bible Church parking lot. Each vehicle will be loaded with treats for all boys and girls. Prizes for best car/truck decoration will be awarded.

Truck ‘N’ Treat is an event sponsored by North Shore Bible Church and the Manson Chamber of Commerce. They will provide apple cider, coffee, hot chocolate, popcorn and a photo booth for kids. If you want to be part of the event bring your vehicle to the parking lot at 4:30 p.m.

Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Nov. 3,12:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
in Riverwalk Park and Downtown Chelan
CHELAN - This Mexican holiday celebrates and honors deceased loved ones. Beautiful altars are made - decorated with candles, flowers and food - it is believed that adult spirits come down to enjoy the festivities that have been prepared for them.

On Saturday, Nov. 3, make your down to Riverwalk Park, it will be filled with story-telling, kids activities, piñatas and live music.

You will even have a chance to place your own decorations to honor your love ones at the central altar.

Dancing horses will be performing and the festivities will culminate with a lantern lit parade.

The public will also get a chance to vote on the best taco in town during the Taco Crawl or the best margarita Chelan has to offer.

Taco Crawl 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Margarita tasting 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
