Clinton Gene Jackson was born in Sherman, Texas on October 26, 1932. He attended schools in McKinney and Fort Worth, Texas and Carnesville, Georgia. He passed away January 22, 2019.

Gene was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked under the U.S. Air Force building airfield runways.

He retired from Boeing after 39 years in 1995. He had worked in Texas at Convair and General Dynanics before being hired by Boeing. Gene enjoyed gardening and auto repair in his leisure time. He and his wife were long time members of the Missionary Baptist Church.

Gene is survived by his wife Beverly and his daughters Caroline Walker of Stephenville, Texas, Sandra Zick of Manson, Wash. and Barbara Jackson of Wenatchee, Wash.

Gene has 17 great-grandchildren: Carol Ann Taylor (5 children), Christy Cabrera (5), Carl Welch (5), all in Texas, Devin and Chandler Zick in Manson, Wash. and also has 1 great-great-granddaughter in Texas.

Gene’s father, mother, and grandson Eddie Mac Welch preceded him in death.

Services for Clinton Gene Jackson will be Saturday, Feburary 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from Precht Rose Chapel, 332 E. Woodin Avenue, Chelan, WA. Services will conclude at Riverview Cemetery in Chelan.
