Helen Lorraine McCaslin was born February 22, 1937 in Havre, Montana to John Stephen and Frances (Blue) Stephen. She passed away November 22, 2016 in Spokane, Wash. at the age of 79.

Helen grew up in many areas of the Northwest, as her father was in construction and the family followed the camps. She was a tireless worker and endeavored endlessly to love and care for her three children. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her daughter Joni (Boucher) Vincent; sons Stephen Martin (Amy), Frank Martin; brothers Paul Heimbigner (Dot), Larry Stephen (Pat), John Bartlett; sister, Dory Moody; grandchildren Zachary Lake (Jennifer), Jera Webster (Jon), and Derion Martin, and four great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Dorothy Stephen and Barbara Stephen; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Helen’s Life will be held by her family and friends at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at her son and daughter-in-law’s home in Mansfield, Wash.
