Jenae Marie Pape-Miller

Posted

Jenae Pape-Miller born Nov.3, 1963 passed away on Sept. 13, 2018.  She grew up in Gig Harbor (WA) and graduated from Gig Harbor High School in 1981. She earned a Para-Legal certificate at the Univ. of San Diego.  After operating a travel business in Federal Way (WA) she moved to Chelan where she raised her two boys and helped run the family business. Helping new brides plan their wedding day was especially rewarding.

The salt of the earth, she taught others to work hard, be generous to a fault, and never give up. She loved her dog Luci, had a huge heart and never met a stranger.  Her boy’s friends called her “Mamma Jenae.”  Her greatest accomplishments include getting her pilot’s license, skydiving in honor of nephew Kyle and being a mother.

Jenae was preceded in death by her father, Eugene K. Pape, Grandpa and Grandma Pape, Grandma Riley, Aunt Diane Pape and loving Nephew Kyle Pape.

She is survived by her loving boys Chad and Ty Miller of Chelan (WA); mother and step-dad Carmen and Steve White of Longview (WA); sister Jessica Kershner (Jon) and niece Lucy of Renton (WA); brother James Pape (Jeanette) and niece Jennifer Pape of Port Orchard (WA); nephew Chris Pape (Ashley) nephew Austin and niece Emma of Gig Harbor (WA), numerous family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Jenae’s birthday, November 3, 2018 at Peninsula Baptist Church, 6127 38th Ave N.W., Gig Harbor (WA) at 1 p.m. Cremation was done under direction of Precht Rose Chapel, Chelan, WA.

As an avid supporter of domestic violence victims Jenae asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Omak Support Center, PO Box 3639, Omak, WA. 98841.
