Echo Valley opens in full swing

CHELAN/MANSON - Echo Valley Ski & Tubing Area is now open. The slopes were officially open for the season on Thursday, Dec. 27.

They will be open everyday through the holiday to Jan. 6; and will be open weekends and holidays after January 6 thru Presidents Day Weekend (Monday, Feb. 18. )

At the moment the Poma will remain closed due to the lack of snow. The ropes and tubing hill are open and ski tickets have been reduced to $20.

Echo Valley offers ski and snowboard drop-in lessons. Times are 10:30 a.m. or 1:00 p.m.

Ski School is scheduled to start on Jan. 5. The lessons run for four weekends in January and February either on Saturday or Sunday. To sign up email echovalleyskischool@gmail.com or call 509-687-3167.

NEW YEAR'S EVE FAMILY CELEBRATION
Join Echo Valley for the annual New Year’s Eve party. Each year Echo Valley celebrates the new year with a family tradition - night skiing and snow tubing.

There will be a bonfire, s’mores and  a Torchlight Parade at 9:00 p.m.

This fun activity is $10 per person and it includes tubing and the use of rope tows.
It is free to season pass holders and anyone five years and younger.

The party will run from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.
