After watching the Chelan girls softball team go 1-1 in their first two games of the season, I made the drive along the Columbia River back home to Wenatchee. Right as I emerged from the tunnel I caught a glimpse of the glassy water below and could see the reflection of the mountain range surrounding it. Although the picture doesn’t do the shot enough justice, it was a purely serene Saturday moment with almost no one outside to see it. It was a beautiful clear night on Saturday in Chelan, which left plenty of opportunities to snap a stunning picture of the moon and ite reflection over a somber and quiet Lake Chelan. I snapped this photo on the way to the Miss Lake Chelan Pageant, and as I came around the corner from highway 97. If you have a picture that you think is worth the Photo of the Week, send it and a caption to Zach Johnson at lcmeditor@gmail.com
