Adopt a Highway cleanup in Manson on April 29, volunteers needed

MANSON - Please mark your calendar for April 29, 2017 to help with an important Adopt a Highway Event in Manson. The melted snow has revealed a great amount of litter along the Manson highway.

 The Manson Chamber of Commerce on behalf of the whole community of Manson, Wash. is part of the Washington State Adopt a Highway Program.  The clean up area includes the first two miles of the state highway beginning in Manson at the corner of Hale and Highway 150 at the Green Dot Sub Shop and going east two miles toward Chelan.  The first 2017 clean up day will be April 29 beginning at 8:30 am. Meet at the Manson Chamber of Commerce office at 145 Wapato Way.  After the clean up a lunch will be provided to the volunteers.   There is a short Safety Training video that must be watched and a form to sign.  The video can be watched online and it will also be shown in the morning before we begin the clean up or can be viewed online at   http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/Operations/adoptahwy/video.htm
