Lake Chelan Community Hospital Foundation changes its name to the Lake Chelan Health & Wellness Foundation

CHELAN - The Lake Chelan Community Hospital Foundation has changed its name to the Lake Chelan Health & Wellness Foundation. The strategy in the decision to re-brand is an expectation for greater visibility within the community, and increased donors and donations.  “This is an incredibly generous community, and there are many ‘good causes’ to consider when donating.  We are grateful for the generosity our donors show to us, and it’s our hope that our new brand will attract even more donors. We invite you to our new website:  www.LCHealthWellness.com,” said Dale Hoisington, Foundation Board President.

The role of philanthropy for Lake Chelan Health & Wellness Foundation is a critical component in meeting many needs for our hospital and community. Our mission is to “promote healthcare services and wellness initiatives for the Lake Chelan Valley.”  The new name aligns with this mission, with the hospital continuing to be our “Number One Customer”.  Our outreach to the community also aligns with national and the hospital’s efforts to increase mindful awareness of healthy living options for all. 

Just recently, your generous donations were given to help 18 MOE girls participate in the Girls on the Run program, purchase equipment for the new MOE Playground Project, partner with Manson High School for a 78-day Community Health Challenge, sponsor Thrive Chelan Valley’s “Empowered to Connect” simulcast, and the recent KOZI Water Safety Campaign.  These are just a few mentions of the positive impact we make in the Lake Chelan Valley in partnering with you, our community.

The Lake Chelan Health & Wellness Foundation actively manages donor contributions, bequests, memorials, donor advised funds, endowments and an annual giving campaign.
