Dia Galvan to receive 2019 Friend of Children Award

Dia Galvan has been selected as a Friend of Children Award Winner for 2019 by the North Central Educational Service District which encompasses 29 school districts in our region.  This prestigious award was created in 1992 to honor individuals and/or groups for their contributions in benefitting children and improving the quality of life with our ESD’s 12,000 mile service area.  The award reflects a commitment to children and dedication to demonstrated by its recipients.

Superintendent Barry DePaoli commented: “Dia’s advocacy in serving students and families in our school district and removing barriers to ensure success has been uplifting and inspiring to us all!”

Dia will be recognized at the Friends of Children Awards event Thursday at the Confluence Technology Center in Wenatchee.
