Culinary Apple is to be sold to JoAnne and Lars Strandberg

CHELAN - Five years ago  we made the decision that we wanted to retire from ownership of the Culinary Apple.
What was to happen to the Culinary Apple? Our three options were: Do our children want to acquire the business, do we liquidate, or is there someone within our organization who would want to carry on our legacy?
Our long-time employee JoAnne and her husband Lars Strandberg came forward and thus the succession process began.
As of January 1, 2020, they will become the new owners of the Culinary Apple. JoAnne has worked at the Culinary Apple for over 11 years and is currently our store manager.
We want to thank the community for all their support as friends and their commitment to shopping locally!
JoAnne and Lars will continue to carry on our fun events and our customer loyalty program.
We will continue in an advisory position with them until March of 2021.
