Posted

EPHRATA - The Grant County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 31-year-old Irene Fleming of Pasco, who has been missing since the afternoon of Sunday, Feb. 25. Fleming was last seen between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. at a residence in the 4900-block of Road U-Southwest, Grant County, during a visit to friends. Since her departure from the home, there has been no contact with Fleming; her cellphone is inactive, suggesting it is switched off or the battery is depleted.

Fleming was last observed wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans, and brown boots. Authorities note her vehicle was left at the location of her visit, indicating she may be traveling on foot. The area surrounding her last known location is rural, near Interstate 90's milepost 143 (the Silica Road exit), approximately six miles west of George. Given this locale's sparse population and visibility, passing motorists might have noticed Fleming.

The public is encouraged to share information that may assist in locating Fleming.

Anyone with information regarding Irene Fleming's whereabouts is urged to contact the Grant County Sheriff’s Office via MACC Dispatch at 509-762-1160 or email crimetips@grantcountywa.gov. Information can be submitted anonymously. When calling 911, please reference CR number 24GS02216 to ensure the information is directed appropriately.
