Grant County detectives investigate new lead in search for missing Pasco woman

Posted

EPHRATA — The Grant County Sheriff’s Office continues its search for 31-year-old Irene Fleming of Pasco, who has been missing since the afternoon of Sunday, Feb. 25. Detectives received information on Saturday from an employee of an East Wenatchee business who reported an interaction with a woman matching Fleming's description on Thursday, four days after Fleming was last seen leaving a friend's residence in the 4900-block of Road U-Southwest, Grant County. Authorities have stated there is no evidence to suggest Fleming is in danger.

Fleming was last observed wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans, and brown boots. Her vehicle was left at the home, indicating she may have departed on foot. The surrounding area is rural, near Interstate 90's milepost 143 (Silica Road exit), about six miles west of George. Given the sparse population and visibility in this locale, it's possible passing motorists might have seen Fleming.

The public is encouraged to share any information that may assist in locating Fleming. Anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts is urged to contact the Grant County Sheriff’s Office via MACC Dispatch at 509-762-1160 or email crimetips@grantcountywa.gov. Tips can be submitted anonymously. When calling 911, individuals should reference CR number 24GS02216 to ensure the information is directed appropriately.
