Hospital Guild Y raising funds for patio furniture at Orchards Café

CHELAN - Hospital Guild Y is sponsoring another sale of etched 4x8-inch, red paver bricks for the new hospital's outdoor dining patio.
The first fundraiser in 2022 was popular, but many who attended the Open House at the hospital on Dec. 6 wanted another chance to order a brick to show their support for Lake Chelan Health.
The sale runs from April 1 to May 31. The paver bricks will be laser etched by Bricks R Us of Miami, Florida which has been in business for 30 years, offering fund-raising programs for schools, hospitals, malls and other organizations throughout the United States.
For a $100 tax-deductible donation, a brick can be etched with the buyer's name, family names or anyone he or she may want to memorialize. It might be a favorite teacher or coach, a pastor, a Lake Chelan pioneer, or a spouse or  relative whose name will go down in history.
Name forms are available to fill out at the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce office, 216 E. Woodin Avenue in downtown Chelan. Cash payment or a personal check payable to Guild Y will also be collected there.
Bricks R Us will ship the order to the hospital later this summer to be installed in the patio outside the Orchards Café.
Profits from this fundraiser will be used to buy outdoor furniture and build a pergola or arbor to shade the outdoor dining area.
