Local fundraiser set to build camaraderie and support Chelan Valley Housing Trust

Posted

CHELAN – The Landing in Chelan is set to host their second ever black-tie fundraising event in January with all proceeds going to benefit the efforts of local non-profit, the Chelan Valley Housing Trust (CVHT).

With rising property and building costs, many Chelan residents struggle to secure housing that is in accordance with local wages. It is the mission of CVHT to provide affordable housing options for local wage earners, and The Landing has teamed up with Tipsy Canyon Winery and Navarre Coulee Vineyards to provide an evening to support this invaluable asset to our community.

Last year’s sold-out event was hosted in between Winterfest 2022 weekends, and garnered $111,000 for the efforts of the Chelan Valley Housing Trust.

This event will feature the release of the first-ever 2020 Neighbors Blend, a blended wine varietal drawing on decadent offerings from each Tipsy Canyon Winery and Navarre Coulee Vineyards.

Tickets for this event are $150 and include a special opportunity to be first to purchase the Neighbors Blend, as well as an elaborate four-course paired dinner, a silent auction, and live music performances. These tickets are limited, and community members may purchase them in support of the CVHT at: thelandingchelan.com .

This special community building event will take place on Thursday, Jan. 18 from 6-10 p.m. in historic downtown Chelan at The Landing Chelan, located at 104 E. Woodin Ave., Chelan WA 98816.
