Veterans to be honored Nov. 6 with breakfast, Nov. 11 with parade

Manson Secondary School: Manson Secondary School is hosting its annual Veterans Day breakfast on Monday, Nov. 6 at 8:30 a.m. at Manson High School. They will be serving biscuits and gravy. The breakfast is organized by the Leadership Class, in collaboration with FBLA and FFA. They extend a warm invitation to all Veterans to join them for a memorable morning and to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Please RSVP to: lgriffith@manson.org.

Chelan High School: Hosted by the Chelan High School ASB, area veterans are invited to a Veterans Day Breakfast on Monday, Nov. 6, 8 a.m. at Chelan High School, in honor of their service. For more information: Email Anabelle at 1116627@chelanschools.org.

Nov. 11 - Veterans Day Parade

CHELAN - The Veterans Day Parade, organized by VFW Post #6853, will be held on Saturday, Nov.11, at 11 a.m. (11th hour/11th Day/11th Month). Bring your flag, be proud, and show your patriotism. Come celebrate with the Veterans at Chelan’s annual Veterans Day Parade along Woodin Avenue. The parade will line up on Woodin Avenue by the U.S. Forest Service headquarters, come across the old bridge, go up Woodin Avenue, turn right onto Emerson Street and end at Riverwalk Park.

Nov. 11 – Veterans Day Ceremony

MANSON – The Manson American Legion Post #108 will hold its annual Veterans Day celebration on Nov. 11, at 11 a.m., at the American Legion Park, across from the Manson Business Center. Manson Fire Chief Arnold Baker will bring Tower 51, an aerial platform truck and raise a large flag above Wapato Way. There will be several short speeches and the Lake Chelan Patriotic Singers will lead those in attendance in song. This is a great event to honor all veterans that have served or are serving in the United States Armed Services.
