City of Chelan planning improvements at Lakeside Park, public meeting June 16, 18

CHELAN - The City of Chelan is planning improvements at Lakeside Park. These improvements will address parking, swim area improvements, restroom capacities, increased ADA access, and an accessible artful playground. While many of the project parameters are broadly established, there is lots of room for the public to help refine the details of the final park program. Please join them to share your ideas.

June 16

Thursday, June 16, 6-8 p.m. at Chelan City Hall, 135 E. Johnson Avenue. This will be a public forum with a brief presentation of the project history, project parameters, then discussions with the design team to gather input from attendees.

June 18

Saturday June 18, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Interactive Inputs: Meet with project designers with Berger Partnership and Parks Director Paul Horne on-site at Lakeside Park, 2230 Terrace Avenue. This will be a more interactive informal session to gather insights from park users.
