CHELAN - Our Lake Chelan Quilters' Guild brought over 30 quilts to Heritage
Heights on July 1 to hang in the lobby as well as on hallways and stairwells for a masterly July exhibition of the sewing arts.  Quilts are a favorite medium (what small town does not have a quilt shop?) and this gathering of outstanding work shows Chelan’s Artists of the Month in top form.
Karen Jeffries, Tracy Shaw, Adrienne Carpenter, Christy Libbey, Janet Liberty and Anne Brooks have work on display.  One of the attractions of quilts is the stories they tell—of holidays, of seasons, of vacations taken and memories held dear---the stories in the stitching make quilting one of the most personal of the arts.
The Lake Chelan Quilter’s Guild will be on display until July 31.  Please call ahead for best times to visit, Heritage Heights Senior Living, 505 East Highland Avenue, Chelan,  509-682-1998.
