Manson Farmer’s Market

MANSON - The Farmer’s Market in Manson is open Saturday and Wednesday mornings at the Manson Grange. Market starts at 8:30 a.m. until 12 noon. There is produce, baked goods, jams, honey, crafts and more. The Manson Grange is at 157 Wapato Way on the right as you enter Manson. Thursday Evening Farmers Market

CHELAN -  Thursday Evening Farmers market is open now thru the end of September, 4-7 p.m. The market is located on the corner of S. Vacation Bible School

CHELAN - ROAR!  A summer event for kids starts Monday, July 22 at 9:30 a.m., and runs thru Friday, July 26, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Chelan. There will be a special program on Sat., July 27.  The setting for the Vacation Bible School this year is Africa with the theme “God is Good Even When Life is Wild.”  Children ages 5-12 will enjoy age appropriate crafts and games as well as Bible stories.  Each day concludes with a safari celebration where kids get involved in learning how to live the concepts they have learned. All children ages 5-12 are invited. Time is 9:30 until noon. The church is located at 109 E. Highland Avenue.  For more information call Sandy Zimchek at (904) 735-7380. CHELAN -  The Chelan Senior Center holds their monthly board meeting on the third Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at the Senior Center, located at 534 E. Trow Avenue in Chelan.

Conversations Around Death/Death Conversations Group

CHELAN - On the third Wednesday of each month we will meet at the Chelan Senior Center from 9-10:30 a.m. to talk about what we can do legally, emotionally, religiously, financially to prepare for our passing. This is free and open to the public. You do not have to be a member of the Senior Center to attend. Each month there will be a different subject explored. LCCHC board to meet

CHELAN - Chelan County Public Hospital District #2 (Lake Chelan Community Hospital and Clinics) will be holding a regular board meeting on Tuesday, July 23, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., in the Board room, located at Lake Chelan Community Hospital, 503 E. Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group

CHELAN - Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group for Chelan/Manson is Wednesday, July 24, 9 -11:00 a.m. (4th Wednesday of each month) at the Lake Chelan Community Hospital Board Room. The group is open to caregivers and loved ones with Alzheimer’s. Currently four caregivers are attending and they have room for  up to 12. Tender Loving Care Volunteers will be available to provide caregiver support (care in the home for the person with Alzheimer’s) during the meeting. MANSON - The Manson Chamber of Commerce will hold their monthly meeting Wednesday, July 24, 8:30 a.m., in the Manson Parks office on Pedoi.

Potluck dinner

CHELAN - Berean Baptist Church has a potluck dinner after the morning service on the last Sunday of every month. The church is located at 515.  E. Woodin Ave. There will be no evening service on that Sunday.

Manson American Legion Post to meet

MANSON - The American Legion in Manson meets the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Manson Parks Building, 142 Pedoi.

North Cascades Sportsman’s Club

CHELAN - The North Cascades Sportsman’s Club Board meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. Meetings take place at the Chelan PUD located at 1034 E. Woodin Ave. in Chelan.

VFW Auxiliary to meet

CHELAN - VFW Post #6853 Auxiliary meets the second Friday of the month at the Hertiage Heights Assisted Living meeting room, at 2 p.m. Anyone interested in joining can call Carol Palmbush at 682-5624.

The Compassionate Friends to meet

WENATCHEE - The Compassionate Friends is an organization offering friendship, understanding and hope to bereaved parents and their families. They are bereaved parents reaching out to bereaved parents. Anyone who has had a child or loved one die in their family is invited to their monthly meeting on the third Monday of the month, 7-8:30 p.m., at Grace Lutheran Church, 1408 Washington Street in Wenatchee. MANSON - The Chelan County Fire District 5 Commissioners hold their monthly meeting the second Tuesday of the month at 4:30 p.m. at Station 51 located at 250 W. Manson Blvd.

Lilac Services for the Blind meetings

WENATCHEE - The Wenatchee Valley Chapter of the Lilac Services For the Blind meets every second Wednesday of the month at 4 Kittitas St. across the street from the bus station in Wenatchee, second floor, at noon.
