Chelan Senior Center Board to meet

CHELAN -  The Chelan Senior Center holds their monthly board meeting on the third Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at the Senior Center, located at 534 E. Trow Avenue in Chelan.

Conversations Around Death/Death Conversations Group

CHELAN - On the third Wednesday of each month we will meet at the Chelan Senior Center from 9-10:30 a.m. to talk about what we can do legally, emotionally, religiously, financially to prepare for our passing. This is free and open to the public. You do not have to be a member of the Senior Center to attend. Each month there will be a different subject explored. CHELAN - The Chelan VFW #6853 will hold a free spaghetti feed for veterans and their families on Saturday, May 18, beginning at 4 p.m. at the Chelan Senior Center, 534 E. Trow Avenue in Chelan. CASA informational meeting

WENATCHEE - The Chelan Douglas CASA Program is hosting an informational evening in the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce office on May 22 from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. CASA Volunteers are Court Appointed Special Advocates - powerful voices for children who have been abused or neglected.  This is a great time to speak with staff and volunteers about the role of a CASA and have questions answered. Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group

CHELAN - Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group for Chelan/Manson is Wednesday, May 22, 9 -11:00 a.m. (4th Wednesday of each month) at the Lake Chelan Community Hospital Board Room. The group is open to caregivers and loved ones with Alzheimer’s. Currently four caregivers are attending and they have room for  up to 12. Tender Loving Care Volunteers will be available to provide caregiver support (care in the home for the person with Alzheimer’s) during the meeting.
