Nominations Are Now Being Accepted for the Board of Directors

If you know of someone who would be a great addition to the Chamber Board, or if you are interested in serving, we would like to know. Nominees must be willing to make the time commitment to be involved in all aspects of the Chamber, including monthly meetings every third Tuesday of the month at noon at the Chamber office. The Chamber is made up of a 9-member board, and there are 5 positions open at the end of 2022. A nomination must be received at the Chamber office by 5 p.m. on Monday, November 1. Murder Mystery Party at Cashmere Library

The Cashmere Library is hosting  a murder mystery party on Wednesday, Oct. 26. Solve the Murder at Pine Falls Campground by searching for clues in the library, which will be decorated for the event. All activities will be family friendly, but the difficulty of the sleuthing is geared for tweens to adults.

All supplies including notebooks, pens and instructions will be provided. The free event will run from 6:15 to 8 p.m. and no pre-registration is necessary. Fall Festival at Christ Center

Enjoy the Fall Fest – our community safe-and-fun event for the whole family in lieu of Halloween. Monday, October 31  from 5-7:30 p.m. Christ Center will have a traditional trunk or treat, a bouncy house for young children, s’mores, pie walk, hayride, line dancing and much more at 5800 Kimber Road.

Regional

The Cascadia Conservation District Regular Board meeting will be an in person and call-in / Zoom meeting, held on Friday, October 21, 1:30 p.m.  If you wish to attend in person, please call the office as space is limited.  More information and instructions will be available on our web site at cascadiacd.org or by calling the district office, 509-436-1601.
