Healing Prayers
CHELAN - Healing Prayers is a safe, non judgmental, hope filled ministry lead by compassionate believers from multi-denominational churches with in the Chelan Valley and is endorsed by many area churches. Healing Prayers operates in the power of God’s Holy Word to seek and to save the lost and to restore the broken hearted. They trust in God’s precepts and commandments and the promises He gives to his children; including promises to non believers who are searching for answers in their lives. The invitation is for all who are seeking prayer, healing, direction, and restoration. Our prayers are for Gods Divine Healing, physically, emotionally and spiritually.  Delivering The Word of Hope, Encouragement, Instruction and Redemption. Location:  213 Sanders St., Chelan, located on the Campus of the Nazarene Church, across the street from the Fire Station. Dates: Every second and fourth Thursday of Every Month. Time: 6-8 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Sponsored by LCCHC. Wii Bowling, Tuesdays, 10-11 a.m. Pinochle Tuesday, 1 p.m.  Bingo Thursday, 1 p.m.

Chelan County Noxious Weed Control
WENATCHEE - Survey season began April 1. The list is posted on the Chelan County Noxious Weed Control Board website and is also available by request from the office. April 3
North Cascades Sportsman’s Club
CHELAN - The North Cascades Sportsman’s Club Board meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. Meetings take place at the Chelan PUD located at 1034 E. Woodin Ave. in Chelan.

April 3/yoga, April 9/support group
Cancer Support Group, yoga class
CHELAN - Wellness/Restorative yoga, a guided practice of gentle yoga postures and movement designed for cancer survivors, individuals living with acute or chronic illnesses, and caregivers is available at no charge. This class is held every Wednesday at 3:45 p.m. at Yogachelan.  Contact Yogachelan for more information.

The Women’s Wellness Group, cancer support group, meets the second Tuesday of each month with lunch provided by the Wenatchee Wellness Place, at the Lake Chelan Community Hospital Board Room at 11:45 a.m.  For more information, contact Anne at 682-8718.

Friends of Public Library to meet
CHELAN - Chelan Friends of the Public Library will have their monthly meeting on Monday, April 8, 7 p.m., at the Chelan Public Library meeting room, 216 N. Emerson St. Agenda will include planning their Earth Day Book Sale on April 20. All are welcome For more info call 682-1172.

Al-Anon
CHELAN - AlAnon meetings are weekly at the Lake Chelan United Methodist Church, 206 Emerson Street, Tuesdays,  12-1:15 p.m.  For more information call Sherylann, 682-1817.

April 10
Senior Living Initiative meeting
CHELAN - The next Senior Living Initiative Meeting (SLI) will be held Wednesday, April 10, 5-6:30 p.m. at the PUD Conference Room on Woodin Avenue in Chelan. They welcome all interested in learning about the proposed Senior Living facility, Tender Loving Care program (TLC) and the Community Nurse program.

Arbor Day Packing Night
WENATCHEE - Join us on Thursday, April 11, 4:30-9 p.m. for tree packing night at Ballard Ambulance, 1103 N. Wenatchee Ave.  High School aged youth and adults are welcome to come help with this annual event of wrapping the trees to prepare them for distribution. Wear sturdy shoes, bring gloves and a jacket. There will be a break for pizza and door prizes about 7 p.m. For information: Bonnie Orr   (509) 884-5069

VFW Auxiliary to meet
CHELAN - VFW Post #6853 Auxiliary meets the second Friday of the month at the Apple Cup Cafe at 2 p.m. Anyone interested in joining can call Carol Palmbush at 682-5624.

April 13
Arbor Day tree giveaway
ENTIAT - April brings Arbor Day and the Entiat Tree Board will celebrate by distributing trees in the Entiat City Hall parking lot on Saturday, April 13, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or as long as our tree supply lasts. Trees offered this year will be:  Pinyon Pine, Douglas Fir, Engelmann Spruce, Rocky Mountain Maple, Golden Currant, Oakleaf Sumac and Viburum. A $2 donation is requested to help with the purchase of each tree for next year’s Arbor Day.
April 15
Lake Chelan Historical Society annual meeting
CHELAN - The Lake Chelan Historical Society will hold their annual meeting on Monday, April 15, 7 p.m. at the museum located at 204 East Woodin Avenue. It is open to everyone. The speaker for the evening will be Rod Molzahn sharing stories  of the Chelan valley and the greater area. Annual memberships  are now due.  2019 History Notes will be available at the annual meeting and are free to members. For more information call 682-5644.

Manson Community Council
MANSON - The Manson Community Council meets the third Tuesday of every month, 6 p.m. at the Manson Park Office on Pedoi Street. All are welcome to attend.
