MANSON - The American Legion in Manson meets the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Manson Parks Building, 142 Pedoi.

Mended Hearts Chapter to meet
WENATCHEE - Greater Wenatchee Mended Hearts Chapter 91, Offering Hope and Encouragement to Heart Patients and Their Families in Chelan, Douglas, Grant and Okanogan Counties.  The Mended Hearts Meeting will be held from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 3, at Central Washington Hospital Conference Rooms A & B on ground floor.  The public is invited to come and learn about “Medicare Updates” from Dick Anderson, Medicare Counselor for SHIBA, the Statewide Health Insurance Program.  He will talk about changes to the availability of some medigap plans, how to avoid paying more than necessary for prescription drugs and attempts to scan seniors of Medicare. CHELAN - The North Cascades Sportsman’s Club Board meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. Meetings take place at the Chelan PUD located at 1034 E. Woodin Ave. in Chelan.

MANSON - The Chelan County Fire District 5 Commissioners hold their monthly meeting the second Tuesday of the month at 4:30 p.m. at Station 51 located at 250 W. Manson Blvd.

Lilac Services for the Blind meetings
WENATCHEE - The Wenatchee Valley Chapter of the Lilac Services For the Blind meets every second Wednesday of the month at 4 Kittitas St. across the street from the bus station in Wenatchee, second floor, at noon.
