Community choir rehearsals Services
MANSON – The Lake Chelan Community Choir will be rehearsing at North Shore Bible Church, Sunday, March 31, 1-3 p.m.  Early dismissal is common.  This will be the third of five rehearsals for Good Friday Service, to be held at North Shore bible Church on April 19. Music will be provided.  If you’ve not sung with the community choir before, but have been “thinking about it”,  consider yourself invited.  For information,  director Marci Hale, 687-3791.

Chelan Senior Center Board to meet
CHELAN -  The Chelan Senior Center will hold their monthly board meeting on Wednesday, April 3 at 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Senior Center, located at 534 E. Trow Avenue in Chelan.

AARP Safe Drivers Class
CHELAN - This class will be held on Tuesday, April 16 and Wednesday, April 17, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. each day. This 8 hour course and may help you to receive a discount from your car insurance company (please check with your individual agents). Cost is $15 for AARP members. $20 for non-members. This will be due at the first class and you will pay the instructor Charles Mallow. You do not need to be a Chelan Senior Center member to attend. Story time Chelan / Manson Libraries
CHELAN - Story time is every Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Chelan Public Library located on Emerson Street. Join them for singing, dancing, clapping, music making as well as reading. It’s both fun and educational!
MANSON - Every Wednesday at 11 a.m. the Manson Community Library offers a story time for children ages 2 to 5 and their caregivers.  Join the group for a half hour of stories, rhymes, songs, finger plays and other activities.  For more information call the library at 687-3420.

Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group
CHELAN - Aging and Adult Care of Central Washington, with Tender Loving Care for Seniors, will begin  a monthly Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group (Alzheimer’s Café) for Chelan/Manson, starting Wednesday, March 27, 9-11 a.m. (4th Wednesday of each month), Lake Chelan Community Hospital Board Room (lower floor). The group is open to caregivers and loved ones with Alzheimer’s. Tender Loving Care Volunteers will be available to provide caregiver support (care in the home for the person with Alzheimer’s) during the meeting. MANSON - The Manson Chamber of Commerce will hold their monthly meeting Wednesday, March 27, 8:30 a.m., in the Manson Parks office on Pedoi.

Cancer Support Group, yoga class
CHELAN - Wellness/Restorative yoga, a guided practice of gentle yoga postures and movement designed for cancer survivors, individuals living with acute or chronic illnesses, and caregivers is available at no charge. This class is held every Wednesday at 3:45 p.m. at Yogachelan.  Contact Yogachelan for more information.
The Women’s Wellness Group, cancer support group, meets the second Tuesday of each month with lunch provided by the Wenatchee Wellness Place, at the Lake Chelan Community Hospital Board Room at 11:45 a.m.  For more information, contact Anne at 682-8718.

CHELAN - Baby rhymin’ time is every Friday at 10 a.m., at the Chelan Pubic Library on Emerson Street, for ages 0-3 years. Join them for singing, dancing, nursery rhymes, musical instruments, and story telling for babies, waddlers and toddlers.

Chelan Valley Genealogy Society
CHELAN - Chelan Valley Genealogy Society (CVGS) invites you to the General Meeting on Saturday, March 30, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Chelan Methodist Church Social Room (corner of Johnson and Emerson).  This will be a workshop to help people learn how to enter their family history onto genealogy forms.  Bring your research on family members:  Your own name with birth date and where, marriage date and where, spouse’s name, birth date and where, and death date and where.  Then other ancestor names such as siblings and grandparents, with similar dates and places.  Forms will be provided.  Instruction and help will be given.

CHELAN - Berean Baptist Church has a potluck dinner after the morning service on the last Sunday of every month. The church is located at 515.  E. Woodin Ave. There will be no evening service on that Sunday

CHELAN - The next Senior Living Initiative Meeting (SLI) will be held Wednesday, April 10, 5-6:30 p.m. at the PUD Conference Room on Woodin Avenue in Chelan. They welcome all interested in learning about the proposed Senior Living facility, Tender Loving Care program (TLC) and the Community Nurse program.
